How do you clean your drone?

The tips below are some things you should know before cleaning your drone. If you want to make sure you get every last bit out of your drone, then read this guide!

  1. You should have the right tools. Be sure to have everything you require before you begin any task. You will need a soft brush or a toothbrush and a cleaning agent (we recommendWD40).
  2. Disconnect the battery pack. First, remove the battery pack from your drone's bottom. It is easy to locate the battery under your propeller. Just take care not to lose any screws during removal.
  3. Take off all parts. Next, take out all the parts on the drone's bottom. Check that none of them are loose, as they may fall off when you try to clean the machine.
  4. Use a cleaning agent. Now it is time to clean the drone. We recommend using WD40 for cleaning. Simply spray the entire surface of your drone with the cleaner, making sure to get in between each component. Before you attach everything, let it dry completely.
  5. Replace the battery. Finally, once you've cleaned your drone, it's important to put the battery back in place. By doing this, you can test how well your drone functions after cleaning.
